Welcome Rough Comon Village Hall is run by a committed team of volunteers. Tha Hall has varied programme of activities and we welcome everyone to come and join in the clubs and societies listed. There is a playing field behind the hall. This year we had a Summer Fair on the Field, the first for many years, and we were delighted to have great support from the village and other visitors who helped us to raise Â£1900.00 towards refurbishing the hall. We need to continue to raise funds and hope our community will support the hall. If you would like to join the team to run the hall, help with the refurbishment or fundraising, even if you only have a few hours to spare to support a particular event, we would really like to hear from you Contact Gary Rigden on 01227 784668

	Trustee Vacancies


	You may have voted to refurbish the Village Hall or heard about the decision to refurbish the hall. The Trustees are now at the planning stages and will be publishing the planned improvements for "Stage One" of the programme shortly.

	NEWS .... Events held earlier this year, The Booksale, Coffee Morning, and Nearly New Sale raised £390.00 towards the refurbishment. The quiz in April was cancelled due to lack of support.

	We are holding a JUBILEE TEA May 26th 3.00 - 5.00pm. Strawberry Cream Tea, Cakes and Refreshments. We would like residents to share their photos. of Rough Common and how they have celebrated over the past 60 years. Bring your photos, cuttings and memories to the hall. There will be games and activities for children.Free Addmission. Come and Support your hall

	VACANCY .. Our letting secretary Ann Amos is standing down at the end of May and we thank he for all her work and wish her well for the future. We urgently require someone to take over this important post. Expenses and a monthly allowance paid. If you are interested, please contact Gary Rigden on 01227 784668 to discuss.
